The Role

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a driven, dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist (Technical Recruiter), with a strong background in full cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening and hiring candidates, within the engineering industry for our Warren, NJ office. The right candidate will partner with hiring managers to understand critical hiring needs, role requirements and proactively source qualified candidates across all levels and will be able to multi-task effectively. The candidate will assist in developing and implementing strategic recruitment plans while supporting new hire engagement initiatives in addition to collaborating with managers across the board.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

Essential Functions  

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.  
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand critical hiring needs and role requirements and proactively source qualified candidates. 
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including job postings, screening, interviews, offers, and on-boarding, while also supporting new hire engagement activities to ensure a smooth transition to the firm.  
  • Recruit strategic hires through proactive outreach efforts- including targeted sourcing, community engagement, and professional networking - to fill roles critical to the firm’s business objectives- including both leadership and high-impact technical positions.  
  • Create a talent pipeline by proactively identifying candidates for high-priority and recurring roles. 
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates to keep them informed about the status of their applications and ensure a positive candidate experience. 
  • Actively solicits feedback from hiring managers on interviewed candidates to continuously refine the sourcing pipeline and improve the quality of hires.  
  • Maintain accurate applicant data and hiring metrics through JazzHR and other internal systems and provide weekly reporting on open positions and candidate status. 
  • Collaborate with external recruiters as needed, to ensure alignment, avoid candidate duplication and support passive talent sourcing when appropriate.  
  • Assist with affirmative action data tracking as required. 
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and internal processes during recruitment efforts. 
  • Support employer branding by maintaining consistent candidate communications, participating in recruiting events, and facilitating contacts through a visible presence in the technical and industry community, in collaboration with hiring managers.  
  • Participate in continuous improvement of recruiting processes and onboarding workflows. 
  • Maintain ongoing contact with new hires through regular check-ins and surveys, redirect questions as needed, and coordinate with the HR team to support a positive employee experience and contribute to overall morale and productivity.  
  • Perform any other related duties assigned.  
 
Marketing  
  • Develop in creating and executing recruitment-focused marketing campaigns to promote the employer brand and attract top talent through job-related content. 
  • Coordinate with the marketing team on internal post hire tasks.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no current supervisory responsibilities.

SALARY:
Estimated base salary range for this position is $40,000 to $45,000 along with bonus linked to the position(s) filled. The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. The salary offered will vary based on experience, education, skills, abilities, and certifications/license

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in HR, Business Administration, Communication Marketing or in a related field.
Work Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, ideally in the engineering, architecture, or consulting industries.
Skills
  •  Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
  •  Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  •  High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, applicant tracking systems (JazzHR preferred), and recruitment tools.
  •  Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  •  Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
